It’s been a super rough last month and a half for reeling teams like the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

As the weather started to change, contending teams like the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers began to stink to high heaven.

With these two bitter AFC North rivals squaring off for the final Monday Night Football game of this season, one of these two not-above-.500 teams has to win, right? Then again, the Steelers have tied the Detroit Lions. It would only be fitting if we got a super awkward tie between two teams that absolutely hate each other to help ring in the new year. So how bad has it gotten?

When the Houston Texans have won more games (three) than you (two) since Week 11, you know your favorite football team is having a bad time.

Browns, Steelers are among teams worst than the Texans since Week 11

Houston was expected to win precisely zero games with David Culley as head coach and presumably Tyrod Taylor at quarterback. Well, guess what? These Texans have four more wins than we thought they would and two more than a division rival who fired its head coach after 13 games. At least Lou Holtz and Bobby Petrino had an Arkansas Razorbacks gig lined up for them…

With Baker Mayfield looking less like a franchise quarterback every week, and Ben Roethlisberger aging like milk before our eyes, Davis Mills is doing more for longnecks than Mike Glennon and dollar domestics ever could. He still has a way to go to catch Little Foot, the greatest longneck from the Land Before Time. Culley is going to get a second year on the job, so how about that?!

Sadly, it’s not just the Browns and the Steelers who can’t hang with the post-Week 10 Texans. The Arizona Cardinals and the Tennessee Titans are freaking playoff teams and only have two wins since Week 11. Since misery loves company, a third AFC North team in the Baltimore Ravens is no match for Mills cranking “Neck” harder than the LSU marching band. Joe Burrow loves this so much.

With the 2021 Texans being the barometer for NFL suck, what a time to be alive cheering for the Brownies and the Stillers!
