Cheez-It Bowl: Clemson vs. Iowa State live stream, start time, TV channel, radio broadcast
By Ethan Lee
After losing both his offensive and defensive coordinator, Dabo Swinney must lead the Clemson Tigers against the Iowa State Cyclones in the Cheez-It Bowl.
Dabo Swinney has lost of lot of stability in the program he’s built. The Clemson Tigers have lost both of their coordinators as Tony Elliott is now the head coach of the Virginia Cavaliers and Brent Venables left to coach the Oklahoma Sooners.
Now Swinney is tasked with leading his Tigers against the Iowa State Cyclones in the Cheez-It Bowl. The Tigers head into the game with a 9-3 overall record while the Cyclones currently sit at 7-5 on the year.
While it’s ultimately clear that Clemson underachieved this season, one could argue that Iowa State didn’t live up to its potential either. The Cyclones were really good in 2020 and seemed to take a slight step back in 2021. But, given the history of the Cyclones, a 7-5 season and a bowl berth against Clemson isn’t anything to be too upset about.
