1. NFL teams on upset alert in Week 17 – Dallas Cowboys

The degree of difficulty for the NFC East Champions will ratchet up considerably in Week 17. The Dallas Cowboys barely broke a sweat against Washington on Sunday night, racking up 56 points in 46 minutes before finally taking their foot off the gas pedal in a primetime beatdown of their bitter rivals.

The win was an important one for Dallas, which maintained its shot at getting home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs. That result would require some help in the form of a Green Bay loss but Dallas also has to take care of its own business, including securing a victory against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

The Cardinals have dropped three straight games to fall out of the NFC’s top seed into a wild card spot. This game is extremely important for Arizona, which needs to re-establish itself as a postseason threat.

Despite its recent struggles, Arizona remains a dangerous team that is more than capable of going into Dallas and knocking off the Cowboys. Anything less than a great effort from the Cowboys could lead to a loss that eliminates Dallas from the race for home-field in the NFC.
