The Alabama Crimson Tide was able to get an impressive win over the previously unbeaten Cincinnati Bearcats in the Cotton Bowl. Nick Saban’s team went out and beat the Bearcats 27-6 thanks in large part to a dominant rushing attack and a stout defense that smothered Cincinnati’s offense.

Now, following the win, some former Crimson Tide stars have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the Cotton Bowl win.

Alabama wasn’t exactly able to cruise to an easy victory over Cincinnati, but the Crimson Tide did clearly look better than the Bearcats. It was a very solid and impressive win that every Alabama fan should be happy with.

And now, after losing by 21 points and being out-gained by over 200 yards, former Bearcats tight end Travis Kelce is tweeting through it.

Alabama looked solid. Cincinnati’s defense was able to keep the game from getting out of hand, but the Bearcats were outmatched from very early on. The Bearcats did better than most could have. They earned this spot and the right to play Alabama. Saban’s team just happened to prove why it’s better than everyone else though.
