Tennessee Titans head coach and Ohio State alum Mike Vrabel roasted the Michigan Wolverines during the early portion of the Orange Bowl.

Michigan Wolverines fans were ecstatic on New Year’s Eve, as they got to watch the team compete in the Orange Bowl with a chance to clinch a spot in the CFP National Championship Game. Some of those individuals used their bowl game appearance to troll the Ohio State Buckeyes, whom they defeated at the end of the regular-season, which was their first head-to-head victory since 2011.

In the first half, the Wolverines trailed as much as 17-0 to the No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs. There were many Buckeyes fans and alum with huge smiles on their faces watching their rival struggle. One of those was former Ohio State linebacker and current Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel.

Vrabel was responding to a tweet from Titans star offensive tackle and Michigan alum, who called the Cincinnati Bearcats the “sacrificial lamb of nonpower five schools.” The head coach responded with “make that two” with two emojis of lambs.

It was not a good start for the Wolverines, as they surrendered two touchdowns to Georgia on their first two drives. Quarterback Stetson Bennet put the Bulldogs on the board on the opening drive on a nine-yard touchdown pass to Brock Bowers. On the following drive, Georgia pulled off a trick play, in which running back Kenny McIntosh threw an 18-yard pass to wide receiver Adonai Mitchell in the end zone.

It may have been early, but the Buckeyes faithful were sure enjoying Michigan trail Georgia, even Vrabel.
