Moments after his exit from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, wide receiver Antonio Brown broke his silence on Twitter.

NFL fans who happened just watch the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ game on Sunday publicly saw Antonio Brown’s exit from the team. In the midst of the team’s contest against the New York Jets, Brown took off his jersey, shoulder pads, and gloves and stormed out of MetLife Stadium shirtless. After the game, Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians announced that Brown was “no longer a Buc.”

Browns broke his silence on Twitter following his exit from Tampa Bay, posting a photo of himself pregame with a caption reading “Super Gremlin.” He then posted a photo on his Instagram account with the caption reading “Big MAD (Making a Difference). Thanks for the Opportunity.”

Antonio Brown breaks silence after exit from Buccaneers

Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer spoke with Arians after the game about the situation. The Buccaneers’ head coach said that he was trying to get Brown into the game, but the wide receiver refused. After his multiple attempts failed, Arians told Brown to “get out.” That was when Brown walked out of the game.

A fan who was sitting along the Buccaneers sideline at MetLife Stadium caught the incident on camera. As Brown took off his equipment, teammate and Buccaneers star wide receiver Mike Evans attempted to reason with him, but it was to no avail.

Prior to this incident, Brown was in the spotlight after he was caught having submitted a fake COVID-19 vaccine card. Brown was handed a three-game suspension by the league, but he was brought back to the team. Two weeks later, he is no longer with Tampa Bay.

In seven games this season, Brown recorded 42 receptions for 545 yards and four touchdowns on 62 targets. Brown was just short of receiving hefty incentives for his production.
