Joe Burrow injury: Bengals clinch AFC North, but at what cost?
By Mark Powell
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow suffered what appeared to be a leg injury in a game-winning drive to beat the Chiefs.
Sure, Zac Taylor secured the Bengals first AFC North crown in quite some time. It took a heroic effort from Burrow — the face of the franchise — to secure such a win. Unfortunately, on what felt like the Bengals’ thousandth fourth-down try from the goal line, Burrow suffered a lower-body injury and limped off the field.
With Burrow out for the final few plays, backup quarterback Brandon Allen came in the game and knelt to wind down the clock for a final field-goal attempt.
Cincinnati Bengals: Joe Burrow injured in final drive

Suddenly, Burrow’s health is the greater question. After suffering a season-ending knee injury last year, Burrow has been a tremendous comeback story this year, leading one of the best offenses in the NFL.
Burrow has 30 touchdowns on the season, paired with 14 interceptions. He’s come on strong in recent weeks, improving seemingly every game as the Bengals battled for a playoff spot.
Taylor has his Bengals turnaround. Hopefully, Burrow will be healthy to lead them in the postseason.
Per the looks of things, Burrow should be okay.
