NFL Power Rankings: Week 18

124. . 11-5. Previous: . Kansas City Chiefs. 3. team

The hottest team in the league took its eight-game winning streak to the Queen City. And Andy Reid’s club got off to a great start, opening up a 14-0 first-quarter lead. But for the second time in three games, Steve Spagnuolo’s defense was riddled.

The Chiefs sacked Joe Burrow four times but also allowed him to throw for an astounding 446 yards and four touchdowns. And Reid’s team lost the chance to control their destiny for the top seed in the AFC.

. 11-5. Previous: . Tennessee Titans. 2. team. 35

A victory over the visiting Dolphins and the Titans would capture the AFC South for the second consecutive year. And the Tennessee running game would be the dominant factor on the afternoon.

Mike Vrabel’s club rolled up 198 yards (132 by D’Onta Foreman) on the ground while the team played turnover-free football. Former Dolphins’ quarterback Ryan Tannehill threw only 120 yards but two scores. The Titans sacked Tua Tagovailoa four times.

1. team. 49. . 13-3. Previous: . Green Bay Packers

The Packers looked to avenge a 34-31 loss at Minnesota in Week 11 when they hosted the Purple Gang on Sunday night. Green Bay stifled a Vikings’ offense minus Kirk Cousins. Matt LaFleur’s team outgained Minnesota, 299-70, in the first half in taking a 20-3 lead.

Aaron Rodgers threw for 288 yards and two more scores. A.J. Dillon ran for two touchdowns. And LaFleur’s team wrapped up the top seed in the NFC playoffs for the second consecutive year.
