In surprising fashion, wide receiver Antonio Brown released recent text messages between him and Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians.

This Antonio Brown saga is never going to end, is it? Ever since he jogged off the field shirtless on Sunday at MetLife Stadium, Brown has been making countless headlines. While he still hasn’t officially been released by the Bucs, he’ll never suit up for the team again.

That much was set in stone with Brown taking to social media to release recent texts between him and head coach Bruce Arians. In the messages below, Brown shared with Arians that he indeed was dealing with an ankle issue before all the drama went down in Week 17.

Brown knew exactly what he was doing here and his caption for the post takes a shot at the Bucs as well. On one side of things, Tampa Bay has made it seem like Brown quit on the team in the middle of the win over the Jets.

Brown has been adamant that he’s been dealing with a serious ankle injury and that’s the reason he didn’t go back out onto the field when instructed to by coaches. Brown also posted a photo he sent to Arians of him getting treatment for his pain.

Following Sunday’s game, Arians didn’t waste a second in saying that Brown is no longer part of the squad. Brown isn’t letting that bring him down, and he has already said that he’s ready to bounce back from this injury and get back on the field for a new team in 2022.

It’s up in the air if an organization will give him yet another chance, but we do know his days with the Bucs are over.
