Ethan Pocic

Things have been rough up front for the Seattle Seahawks in recent years and, with the way this offensive line has struggled this season in particular, it wouldn’t be a bad idea for this franchise to consider moving on from center Ethan Pocic.

After being selected in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft out of LSU, Pocic has played in a couple different roles for Seattle’s offensive line, filling in here and there, starting in 39 of the 56 games he’s appeared in.

Unfortunately, Pocic has dealt with a few injuries in his career so far. His career hasn’t exactly been full of overwhelming success or a bunch of easy moments, but the 26-year-old offensive lineman has shown he could be a valuable backup for any team.

He just may not be a starter. And the Seahawks could desperately use someone who could make a difference as a starter on their offensive line.

After this season, Pocic is a free agent. Unless the Seahawks can get him to agree to stick around on a team-friendly deal, it’s probably a wise decision for Seattle to look for a new offensive lineman somewhere else.
