The Cowboys and Eagles finish off the regular season on Saturday with a Monday Night Football special, but is the Manningcast going to show up?

Before a full Sunday slate of games in the first Week 18 ever, the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles will square off as the NFC East rivals both jockey for seeding in the conference playoffs. Both teams have already punched their tickets with Dallas winning the division.

However, with this being such a big game — and with Dak Prescott and Gardner Minshew at quarterback — that has the Monday Night Football crew there, people were asking if another duo was going to be helping with the game.

Namely, the fans were pining for Peyton and Eli to give us a Manningcast. Is that going to happen, though?

Is there a Manningcast tonight for Cowboys vs. Eagles?

Unfortunately, that won’t be the case.

The Manningcast showed up (unfortunately for their sakes) at the Browns-Steelers game last Monday and they made the announcement during that broadcast that they wouldn’t be back on the air until the playoffs.

We can take solace in the fact that we still have at least one Manningcast left to enjoy this season — but it won’t be for the Cowboys vs. Eagles matchup to help put a bow on the regular season.

But hey, if you want to see Peyton and Eli call a game from either of these teams, the fact that they are both playoff-bound still leaves the chance that might happen.
