Alabama quarterback Bryce Young is not related to Vince Young, but is the Heisman Trophy winner related to Chase Young?

Here we are again in early January and Alabama is getting ready to repeat as National Champions. Standing in the team’s way is Georgia, but Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Bryce Young is ready to do whatever is needed to get the job done.

Young is in his first year as the starting signal-caller for Nick Saban, taking over the offense for Mac Jones. Young has been brilliant, as he’s thrown for 4,503 yards, 46 touchdowns and only five interceptions this campaign. Those numbers are wild, and it has been made even better with Young only being a sophomore too.

Is Bryce Young related to Chase Young?

A question countless college fans are asking when watching Young for the first time is whether he’s related to another former college star with the same last name. Young is not related to Vince Young, and he’s not related to former Ohio State star and current WFT defensive end, Chase Young.

All eyes will be on Bryce Young in the National Championship Game

There’s an incredible amount of pressure on Young to deliver against Georgia. When these two teams met in the SEC Championship Game, the Alabama standout tossed for 421 yards and three touchdowns, while adding another score on the ground. The Crimson Tide went on to win that game 41-24.

Now, Alabama will be ready to try and break even more Bulldog hearts out there with another win.
