Take a look at the field view Stetson Bennett’s go-ahead touchdown pass to Adonai Mitchell to give Georgia the lead in the National Championship Game.
The first half of the 2022 National Championship Game was a battle of field goals when it came to the scoreboard. But in the second half, the Georgia Bulldogs’ offense came to life and gave it to the defending champion Alabama Crimson Tide. The momentum certainly changed on one play in particular.
Trailing 18-13, Stetson Bennett threw a beautiful touchdown pass to Adonai Mitchell in the back of the end zone to give Georgia the lead. You saw the national broadcast angle, but take a look at the view from the end zone.

What an angle.
The Bulldogs certainly built off of this incredible throw from Bennett and amazing reception by Mitchell. The defense forced a three-and-out on Alabama to regain possession. Seven plays later, Bennett hit Brock Bowers for a 15-yard catch-and-run touchdown, extending Georgia’s lead to 26-18.
This will be a play that Bulldog fans will remember for decades upon decades.
