Someone called the cops on Georgia football fans for barking at St. Elmo before national championship
Georgia football fans enjoying the city of Indianapolis ahead of the CFP National Championship game got into trouble for barking too loudly.
When Georgia football clinched their place in the CFP title game, restaurant owners in Indianapolis should have realized their city would be overrun by Bulldogs fans.
And when Bulldogs fans gather, they bark.
That’s what happened at St. Elmo Steak House in Indianapolis on Sunday night when a group of Georgia fans started a celebratory chant.

Of course, this wasn’t Athens, so when the large group of people started chanting and barking in unison, someone called the cops on them.
It doesn’t look like anything more happened. The police arrived and calmed things down.
Those fans will get to cheer and bark to their heart’s content on Monday night when the Bulldogs take on the Crimson Tide for the ultimate prize in college football.
Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Colts, will play host to the all-SEC championship game.
As loud as Georgia fans may bark ahead of this one, Alabama silenced them in the SEC title game in December. That victory locked the Tide into the No. 1 ranking in the College Football Playoff rankings. They had to best Cincinnati in the semifinals to advance to the CFP final.
Georgia’s loss in the SEC Championship Game didn’t hold them out of the playoff because of their outstanding performance all season up to that point. They looked significantly more dominant in their semifinal victory over Michigan. They’ll need to produce a similar performance against Alabama this time to win the game that matters the most.
