Georgia football fans throw trash on the field after controversial review benefits Alabama

Georgia football fans were so irate over a replay review in the National Championship Game that benefited Alabama that they threw trash on the field.
Things got testy in the National Championship Game between Alabama and Georgia when a controversial replay review went the Crimson Tide’s way.
Officials ruled that Stetson Bennett fumbled on a play when he was trying to throw the ball away, giving Alabama the ball in the red zone.
When the ruling was announced, some Bulldogs fans did not take it well. They pulled a Tennessee and threw trash on the field at Lucas Oil Stadium

Some photographers on the sideline even got hit by projectiles.

That kind of behavior wasn’t okay when Tennessee fans did it against Ole Miss in the fall. And it’s definitely not okay to do it on the biggest stage of them all.
