USC quarterback Jaxson Dart entering the transfer portal will make him one of the most sought-after quarterbacks in the country.

The college football transfer portal was busy in Los Angeles on Monday.

As rumors of former Oklahoma quarterback Caleb Williams heading to USC swirled, current Trojan quarterback Jaxson Dart took his own plunge into the portal.

Dart is now one of the top-rated quarterbacks in the portal, so there will be plenty of suitors knocking on his door.

5 potential transfer destinations for USC QB Jaxson Dart

UCLA

When Dart was making his commitment decision coming out of high school he had UCLA among his choices alongside USC.

If he likes it in Los Angeles, there is an option to stick around, though this option is complicated by Dorian Thompson-Robinson choosing to come back for the 2022 season.

Utah

Dart is from Draper, Utah. He played high school football about a half-hour drive from Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium.

He’d have to be willing to wait for his turn behind Cameron Rising, who will be a redshirt junior in 2022.

West Virginia

Dart chose to come to USC to play in Graham Harrell’s offense. Harrell just took the offensive coordinator job at West Virginia, so there’s an obvious link there.

Quarterback Seth Doege is planning to transfer, so there’s an opening at quarterback Dart could fill instantly in an offense he already knows.

Ole Miss

Lane Kiffin needs a new quarterback at Ole Miss as well. Dart definitely gives off Matt Corral-type vibes with a big arm and mobility. He also has a similar competitive spirit.

If Dart wants to go to a rising program with a coach proven in quarterback development, he couldn’t do better than the Rebels.

Oklahoma

Why not a swap deal?

Caleb Williams presumably coming to USC seems to be what sent Dart into the portal. The spot he vacated at Oklahoma is now in play.

New Sooner offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby did good work at Ole Miss under Lane Kiffin. The biggest complication is the arrival of Dillon Gabriel in the transfer portal already.
