Natalie Grant is performing the national anthem prior to the start of the 2022 National Championship Game between Alabama and Georgia.
The 2021 college football season reaches its official conclusion on Monday night when the Alabama Crimson Tide and Georgia Bulldogs fight for the National Championship. Alabama will look to win their second-consecutive national title, while Georgia looks to get revenge not only for this year’s SEC Championship Game, but also the 2018 National Championship Game.
As is the case for every big sports game, all eyes are on who will be signing the national anthem. So, who will be doing so prior to kickoff at Lucas Oil Stadium? That will be Natalie Grant.
Who is Natalie Grant?
Grant is a nine-time Grammy nominee and a five-time Gospel Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year, four of which came in consecutive years (2006-09). The singer and songwriter most recent album, No Stranger, was released in 2020 and is a candidate for a 2022 Grammy award in the Contemporary Christian Music Album category.
