The final game of the 2022 college football season will take place this Monday, and it will feature two of the top teams not just in the SEC, but in the entire country for the CFP National Championship Game. The No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide look to win back-to-back titles, as they take on the No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs.
These two teams met in the SEC Championship Game, with Georgia entering the contest as the top-ranked team in the nation and with an undefeated record. But, quarterback Bryce Young torched the vaunted Bulldogs defense, allowing the Crimson Tide to coast to the 41-24 victory.
In the College Football Playoff Semifinals, Alabama defeated the No. 4 Cincinnati Bearcats 27-6 in the Cotton Bowl Classic, while Georgia blew out the No. 2 Michigan Wolverines 34-11 in the Orange Bowl.
