1. Evan Neal, Alabama offensive tackle

Undoubtedly the top NFL Draft prospect from the National Championship Game comes from Alabama left tackle Evan Neal, arguably the top overall offensive lineman in this year’s draft, as well as a player who is starting to emerge in the talk for the No. 1 overall pick.

The No. 1 ranked offensive lineman in the country out of high school, Neal has started from day one in Tuscaloosa in multiple different roles along the Crimson Tide offensive line, seeing time at left guard, right tackle and now left tackle during his three season’s at Alabama.

At 6-foot-7 and 350 pounds, Neal has the size and versatility to play at any position along the offensive line in the NFL from day one, but will likely settle in at tackle at the next level. Because of his versatility however, there will obviously be a fit with Neal with numerous teams within the Top 10, with most teams likely seeing Neal as a left tackle where he excelled in 2021 against elite-level competition in the SEC.

The Crimson Tide’s starting left tackle in each of the past two season’s have been drafted in the first round (Jedrick Wills Jr. in 2020, Alex Leatherwood in 2021), and that will 100% continue in 2022 with Neal, a lock to go in the Top 10 picks overall.

Neal is already likely the top overall offensive lineman in the 2022 NFL Draft going into the National Championship Game, but look for the potential No. 1 overall pick to leave no-doubt on Monday night against the dominant Bulldogs front seven.
