A likely day two pick at the moment in this year’s NFL Draft, Alabama linebacker Christian Harris is also one of the more-intriguing draft decisions to watch-for after the National Championship Game ends and the offseason begins.

A three-year starter at linebacker for the Alabama defense, the junior is not only a constant presence in stopping the run, but also a player who has emerged as a pass rushing threat across the past two season’s on blitzes, collecting a combined seven sacks during that span.

One of the top tacklers for the Crimson Tide in recent years, Harris has combined alongside another potential NFL Draft prospect in linebacker Henry To’o To’o to compose one-of the top inside linebacker duos in the SEC. While there is the possibility that both choose to go to the NFL, there is also the option that both could return to Tuscaloosa in 2022, potentially boosting both’s draft stock.

While unlikely that Harris is selected in the first round, the junior is a likely second-or-third round selection if he chooses to go that route, but could also easily return to the Crimson Tide next season as one-of the top linebackers in the country. As mentioned previously, Harris is one of the more-intriguing draft decisions to watch for after the National Championship Game, as well as the other half of that linebacker duo in To’o To’o.
