3. Jameson Williams, Alabama wide receiver

It is no secret that Alabama under Nick Saban has an extensive history in recent years of putting wide receivers at the next level, many of which were first round picks who have gone-on to have success in the NFL. A group that included 2020 Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle just last season, the Crimson Tide will put another first round talent in the NFL in 2021 in Jameson Williams.

A finalist for the 2021 Biletnikoff Award, Williams has burst onto the scene with the Crimson Tide this season after transferring from Ohio State, and has seen his draft stock take an immense rise into the upper-half of the first round because of it.

Firmly cemented in the conversation for the No. 1 overall wideout in this draft alongside others such as Ohio State’s Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave, as well as USC’s Drake London, Williams’ speed sets himself apart from other top receivers in this draft, something he has showcased often for the Crimson Tide offense this season.

The 6-foot-2 wideout will likely be selected anywhere in the Top 20 picks of this year’s draft, and could be selected in any particular order with the three receivers mentioned previously. Expect Williams to post yet another strong showing to conclude his breakout 2021 season on Monday night against the Bulldogs, whom he torched for 184 yards and two touchdowns in the SEC Championship Game.
