Following the Alabama loss to Georgia in the National Championship, it sure feels like Skip Bayless took a shot at Nick Saban.

There’s a somber feeling over in Tuscaloosa on Tuesday morning. While the Crimson Tide had dreams of going back to back, things weren’t meant to be. Nope, instead all the ‘Bama fans had to watch Georgia celebrate winning the National Championship.

All the Alabama haters out there have taken to social media. Was this the case for the one and only Skip Bayless? It sure feels that way with one of his most-recent tweets that went up after the final whistle.

Skip Bayless was not happy with Alabama’s showing in the title game

In the tweet above, you can clearly see Bayless call out the lack of a run game for Alabama. With the game on the line, stud quarterback Bryce Young tried to record a late drive to tie things up, but he tossed a pick-six instead. It was of course heartbreaking to see for Alabama fans everywhere.

That sealed things for the Bulldogs, who won their first National Championship since 1980. Now, countless folks who despise Alabama are celebrating things. While Bayless isn’t a known ‘Bama despiser, he just had to go ahead and call out Nick Saban here.

This should come as no surprise, as Bayless never hold backs from firing off controversial statements on his Twitter account. It’s almost more annoying than the idiotic things he says on our television sets.

Regardless of that,  Saban and Co. are incredibly disappointed after Monday’s loss and things were only made worse with Bayless’ tweet. Now, it’s back to the drawing board this offseason for the Tide, while the parties will be raging on in Athens for months.
