U.S. President Joe Biden has wasted no time in reaching out to show love to the Georgia Bulldogs after their win over Alabama.

The Georgia Bulldogs are riding high right now and it’s easy to understand why. In primetime on Monday night, Kirby Smart’s men were able to get over the hump and get some revenge on the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Down the road, a trip to the White House will be in order for the entire team to meet with President Joe Biden. Leading up to that, Biden took to Twitter to send a special message to the new national champs.

Joe Biden praising Georgia for its National Championship win is great to see

You had a feeling this was coming from Biden, as he was probably one of the millions of folks who tuned in to watch one heck of an SEC showdown for all of the marbles. Georgia was able to down the Tide, with Stetson Bennett throwing for two touchdowns, while Zamir White also impressed leading the ground game.

Of course, no one in Athens is ever going to forget about Kelee Ringo’s pick-six to seal the championship for his team. That highlight is going to be shown for years and years to come.

For Georgia, this is the program’s first natty since the 1980 season. It’s been more than 40 years, but the wait is finally over for all of the UGA fans out there. This Twitter post from Biden only makes things even better.

Soon enough, the players will head to Washington D.C. and meet with Biden in person. That’ll be a moment they’ll cherish for a long time.
