JuJu Smith-Schuster has been medically cleared to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers on Super Wild Card Weekend vs. the Kansas City Chiefs.

In their quest for the biggest upset on Super Wild Card Weekend, the Pittsburgh Steelers will be getting back their star wide receiver, JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Smith-Schuster has not played for the Steelers since suffering what was supposedly a season-ending shoulder injury back in early October. With Pittsburgh in the AFC playoffs as the No. 7 seed, that 18th week of the season afforded the talented wideout enough time to come off injured reserve and play for the Steelers. This could be Ben Roethlisberger’s final game of his career.

The Steelers are massive underdogs vs. the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Wild Card game.

In a game seemingly no one is giving the Steelers a chance, it would only be fitting if Smith-Schuster is a major impact player in Pittsburgh’s upset bid of Kansas City. Of the six games being played out on Super Wild Card Weekend, No. 7-seeded Pittsburgh is by far and away the least likely of the 12 teams playing to advance. It would be absolutely shocking if they pulled this off.

Ultimately, anything and everything can happen in a winner-take-all scenario. That is what makes playoff football so special. It is truly the epitome of any given Sunday. Though the Steelers would be massive underdogs once again if they were to advance to play the top-seeded Tennessee Titans in Nashville next week, Pittsburgh has nothing left to lose at this point of the postseason.

Maybe Smith-Schuster helps keep Roethlisberger’s illustrious career alive for one more weekend?
