North Korea’s Olympic Committee was suspended by the IOC, so they will not be represented at this year’s Olympics, though athletes from North Korea may be abe to compete under the Olympic flag.
Athletes from Russia will once again compete under the banner of the ROC or the Russian Olympic Committee. Russia will not officially be able to compete in the Olympics until after 2022.
The United States has 109 athletes set to compete in Beijing though the country is “diplomatically” boycotting the games. No American government officials will attend in protest of human rights violations in China.
