So much for that so-called ‘White Out’. While AT&T Stadium features plenty of Dallas Cowboys fans, 49ers fans also traveled very well.
It’s not the Gold Rush, but 49ers fans traveled quite well to AT&T Stadium and the friendly confines of a Dallas Cowboys playoff game.
The pressure is squarely on Dallas, as they are favored and hosting the game. Yet, defeating a talented San Francisco team will be easier said than done, especially with Kyle Shanahan and Jimmy Garoppolo at the helm. Oh, and did I mention Deebo Samuel? Talk about a triple-threat.
The stampede to enter AT&T Stadium was a preview of things to come.

Niners co-chairman John York even came out pregame to toss a few souvenirs to the fans who traveled all the way from San Francisco.
While it’d be an overstatement to call the 49ers crowd a red sea given they’re in enemy territory, it’s a solid presence nonetheless.

As much fun as we can have with the crowd noise, actually defeating Dallas isn’t as easy. Dak Prescott is among the best quarterbacks in all of football, and the Cowboys have a solid running game to boot with Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard.
Dallas’ defense, led by coordinator Dan Quinn and defensive player of the year candidate Micah Parsons, is among the most opportunistic in football. A few turnovers against a trigger-happy quarterback like Garoppolo is well within the realm of possibility.
