The Las Vegas Raiders are set to have a huge offseason. Here are five impending free agents the team should bring back for the 2022 season.

The Las Vegas Raiders‘ season reached its end when they lost 26-19 to the Cincinnati Bengals in the Wild Card Round. Now, the Raiders let the NFL world know that there are going to be some changes to their organization this upcoming offseason. General manager Mike Mayock was fired by the organization, and the team began requesting interviews with head coaching candidates, with Rich Bisaccia still holding the interim tag.

But when it comes to the roster, there are set to have 26 players hit free agency in one form or another. Even with a new regime coming in to help build the Raiders into their own image, they would be wise to retain some players.

Here are five players who should be re-signed.

Jalen Richard, RB

Jalen Richard has been with the Raiders since 2016, when he signed as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Mississippi. What makes Richard so valuable to Las Vegas is the fact that he can carry the ball, as well as catch it when thrown his way.

This past season, Richard appeared in 10 games, where he ran for 40 yards on nine carries and caught 12-of-14 targets for 72 yards.

In his 87 career games, Richard tallied 1,333 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 264 carries, while catching 191 passes for 1,590 yards and three touchdowns on 236 targets.

The Raiders have two running backs hitting free agency in Richard and Peyton Barber. If their Wild Card game proved anything, it is that Richard is the better option for Las Vegas than Barber.
