Kris Bryant

Teams looking for an athlete capable of playing several positions and hitting with impressive consistency need to look no further than Kris Bryant.

After finding quick success with the Chicago Cubs, Bryant was traded to the San Francisco Giants at the July deadline as the Cubs were shedding payroll in preparation for the offseason. As the Cubs were shifting players around, Bryant earned playing time at third base, all three outfield positions as well as shortstop and first base. Bryant was used in variety of ways during his time with the Giants as well.

Bryant hit .278/.376/.504 with a +134 wRC in his six-season career. He has a career total of 167 home runs, 487 RBI, 204 doubles, 19 tripes, 443 walks, and 44 stolen bases.

The career 28.7 WAR player was the 2015 NL Rookie of the Year, 2016 NL Hank Aaron Award Winner, the 2016 NL MVP as well as a four-time NL All-Star.

Bryant should be receiving more attention. He has incredible abilities in a variety of positions as well as at the plate. He would even be a good designated hitter option as many teams will be on the hunt for a hitter with the designated hitter rule expected to be universal with the next collective bargaining agreement.
