3 Packers who won’t be back after disappointing playoff exit
Green Bay fell flat on their face in the AFC Divisional Round loss to the 49ers. That game is likely the last for several Packers stars.
The Packers came into the playoffs with hopes of riding Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams and company to the Super Bowl.
Those hopes came crashing down on Saturday night when the 49ers stunned the No. 1 seed in the NFC with a game-winning field goal as time expired.
Now, the franchise faces one of their most impactful offseasons ever with a couple of huge departures looming.

There were many ways the Packers season could have ended. They picked the outcome that seems most likely to end Rodgers’ career in Green Bay.
It was always going to be tough to swallow a playoff loss. Doing it to the 49ers in an ugly game that San Francisco had little hope of winning until they pulled it off will be a lot to process for everyone involved.
If Rodgers was unhappy with the franchise for not giving him enough to win Super Bowls before, this will only be a sign to move on.
At the same time, it could be a signal to the Packers that they need to move on as well. The Rodgers era is pretty clearly over. It ended with a whimper of a fourth quarter and a 49ers field goal.
