WWE Royal Rumble 2022 live results and highlights from the PPV event from St. Louis on Saturday, Jan. 29. 

The Road to WrestleMania 38 begins on Saturday night

The Royal Rumble marks one of the biggest events in the WWE‘s calendar year. It’s a fan-favorite attraction that sees one man and one woman forever write their names in history as they go on to headline WrestleMania against the world champion of their choosing.

The annual event, of course, is focused on the titular match for both the men and women. Who’ll have a stand-out performance? What shocking returns or appearances will we see (other than the already announced ones like Johnny Knoxville, Mickie James, Michelle McCool, etc.)? What highlight saves will happen? Will anyone break a record? What comedy spots will the matches have?

And above all else: Who’ll get to punch their ticket to WrestleMania?

This year’s event will also see Brock Lesnar defend the WWE Championship against Bobby Lashley in a long-awaited showdown, and Roman Reigns defending the WWE Universal Championship against familiar friend-turned-foe Seth Rollins.
