A Chiefs fan got some exposure in the end zone as he asked his girlfriend to marry him on national television during the AFC Championship.
As the Chiefs and Bengals play for conference supremacy, one NFL fan used the moment to ask his girlfriend — who we can only assume is not in attendance and potentially watching at home — to marry him.
Should it work, this man’s clever ploy will go down in the playoff history books. Should it not — or should she not notice — well, we can’t really blame her. Surely there are more normal ways to go about a proposal.
Biggest question of #CINvsKC is will Rachel say yes? pic.twitter.com/uJjFJTIgpN

I can only hope Rachel saw the message, paused the television and has some really good eyesight. Because, upon first view…I have no idea.
AFC Championship: Chiefs, Bengals take part in proposal
Whether they knew it or not, the Chiefs and Bengals took part in a proposal for the ages.
Rachel, who I can only assume is not Jennifer Anniston from the popular sitcom Friends, ought to at the very least appreciate the effort and planning that went into the proposal. I mean, how did this fan even know they’d get on television?
At least when the Chiefs are playing, no one has to worry about a defensive struggle, so there are bound to be end zone shots.
Dude has been holding the “Rachel will you marry me?” sign at the #Chiefs game for a looong time. Either Rachel isn’t watching, or this guy really isn’t gonna like her answer.

Also — don’t propose at sporting events if she’s not even there. Gah.
I sure hope she’s watching. If not, that’s a lot of wasted money and effort for nothing.
