Will Jim Harbaugh end up leaving the Michigan Wolverines for the Minnesota Vikings? It looks like he might be interested in making his way back to the NFL.
The Minnesota Vikings have been searching for a new coach to get the franchise going in the right direction and it seems like they may have found someone who is potentially interested in the opening.
It sure looks like Jim Harbaugh is entertaining the thought of leaving the Michigan Wolverines to head back to the NFL.
Minnesota Vikings: Will Jim Harbaugh leave Michigan Wolverines for the NFL?
This would be huge for the Vikings as the franchise works to figure out what its next steps will be and what its future will look like.
While losing Harbaugh would obviously sting for the Wolverines, it wouldn’t be a bad move for him to make right now. Following a very solid season that saw Michigan beat the Ohio State Buckeyes and make the College Football Playoff, Harbaugh’s stock is as high as it’s been in a while and there’s no guarantee that it’ll stay at this level going forward.
As for Michigan, the Wolverines would face a tough coaching search this late into the coaching cycle. It doesn’t mean that they can’t find a good candidate, the Wolverines have one of the best programs around, but this isn’t exactly an ideal time to have to find a new coach.
