favorite Brady memory has to be the 28-3 super bowl. i was staying at a hotel in LA, to film the voice, and watched the game, with my entire cast in the lobby, and they all got to watch me slowly turn into a psycho before their eyes. so many moments like that. congrats @TomBrady

Did you forget about the Boston fans who rooted for you for 20 years?

As you can see from the tweets above, while people are showing Brady love and respect, there’s plenty of shock that he didn’t mention the New England Patriots. Brady spent the majority of his unreal career over in Foxborough, helping the Pats win the Super Bowl six times.
There’s no question things didn’t end on the best of terms, as it looked like there were some issues between Brady and head coach Bill Belichick. The fact that Brady didn’t mention the team or Belichick in his retirement post sure if a bit of a stunner.
Regardless of that, Brady will go down in history as the best quarterback NFL fans have ever seen. Folks across the country are heartbroken knowing they’ll never be able to watch Brady throw another touchdown pass again.
