Auburn football: Bryan Harsin’s wife responds to rumors he’ll be fired on IG

Bryan Harsin’s wife Kes responded on Instagram to the rumors her husband could be fired as the Auburn football head coach for cause.
Auburn football head coach Bryan Harsin could potentially be one-and-done down on The Plains if he is fired for cause.
Not only are the Tigers coming off a mediocre 6-7 season, a down year on the recruiting trails and one coordinator after another running for the hills after just one season, Harsin could be ousted if rumors of an extramarital affair are true. While it remains to be seen what Auburn will do about this potentially emerging scandal, Harsin’s wife Kes went to Instagram and sent out this message.
“Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.”

To say Harsin’s first year and change at Auburn have been a disaster would be a gross understatement. When legacy quarterback Bo Nix entered the transfer portal and then committed to play for Dan Lanning at Oregon, something was up. Former coordinators like Mike Bobo are back at Georgia, Derek Mason is now at Oklahoma State and Austin Davis did not last two months.
Factor in how strong the SEC West is from a coaching standpoint, as well as cross-divisional rival Georgia being the defending national champions, and yes, there could be pressure on Auburn athletic director Allen Greene to make a move. If the men’s basketball team was not operating at its zenith under Bruce Pearl, there would be more eyeballs on what is going on with Harsin’s team.
Even if these rumors are not true, it does not feel like Harsin is for long down on The Plains.
