Portland Trail Blazers — Damian Lillard

2012-Present
24.6 points per game
6.6 assists per game
4.2 rebounds per game

One of the few point guards on this list that are A. still active B. still on the team in question and C. a no-doubter when it comes to best point guard in franchise history. Damian Lillard is still in Portland for now. He’s one of the few players in the league that can still take over a team all by himself. Lillard is hurt right now, but when he’s on the court, he is a superstar. He decided to stay in Portland while the rest of the league was putting together superstar rosters.

Lillard has superstar numbers across the rest of his career. He has been one of the best scorers every single year. Sure, maybe it’s because he has to be on this Blazers team, but he can constantly score between 25 and 30 points per game in every season.

Since he joined the league, Lillard made the All-Star Team six times, he was on the All-NBA second team four times, and he even made the All-NBA first team one time. He also made the list of NBA 75, named before this season for the best 75 players in honor of the 75th anniversary of the league. Lillard making that list is special.

Lillard is someone who should be on a winning team. It’s unfortunate he can only go so far in the playoffs due to his lack of superstar teammates and the many great players in the Western Conference. Still, Lillard is a certified star and basically the King of Portland.
