Round 4: Skyy Moore

Moore lacks the size required to play outside at the NFL level, but he can really help the Browns as a slot guy who can produce yards after the catch. He’s got excellent speed and shiftiness that can cause problems for opposing defensive backs.

It will likely take Moore some time to get used to the level of competition required to succeed in the NFL, but he has the suddenness to turn short screens into long gains. The Browns should select him with the hope that he can become a useful weapon for Mayfield during the second half of his rookie campaign.

Round 4: Verone McKinley III

The Browns have spent a lot of resources trying to fortify their options at safety, but they still haven’t managed to secure the right mix. Landing another piece with McKinley’s talent in Round 4 might finally allow the team’s front office to put the safety position out of their minds.

McKinley’s strength is his nose for the football at the free safety position. He has the speed required to make plays in coverage but he lacks the size and physicality to stand out near the line of scrimmage. He’s a bit of an acquired taste at the safety position, but the Browns should like his value at this spot in the draft.
