Miami Dolphins Mock Draft – Fourth Round

Scouting Report. Nevada Wolf Pack. Cole Turner. player. 59. Pick Analysis. TE. 118

If the Dolphins want to add another offensive weapon to help make things easier for Tagovailoa in this new scheme, why not get him another safety valve? A player who could be available to them in the fourth round is Nevada Wolf Pack tight end Cole Turner. While some may want the Dolphins to add Hall’s Iowa State teammate Charlie Kolar, Turner may be the slightly better value play here.

Ultimately, Miami is not going to be looking for a fourth-round tight end to go gangbusters for them. However, San Francisco did use a day-three pick on some guy out of Iowa, and we know how that went. Not to say Turner has any chance of being the next George Kittle, but this is clearly a position group McDaniel and the rest of the Shanahan coaching tree seem to really have value in.

Penn State Nittany Lions. player. Pick Analysis. CB. Tariq Castro-Fields. 122. 59. Scouting Report

The Dolphins may need to add a piece or two to their secondary in the 2022 NFL Draft. One player who could be available to them in the fourth round is Penn State Nittany Lions cornerback Tariq Castro-Fields. While Miami already has great players in its defensive backfield, this is all about adding depth and rounding out the defense with a player who might be able to contribute some.

Though the Big Ten is more of a run-first league, it has become increasingly passing centric in recent years. While there are still teams who live to run the ball like Iowa and Wisconsin, Castro-Fields did play against teams who like to sling it in the Big Ten East in Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State. Factor in him playing in several massive stadiums and the AFC East could be easy.
