Round 2: Logan Hall
Calais Campbell canāt play at a high level forever which means the Ravens need to be in the market for talented defensive ends in this yearās draft. Hall is one player who projects to be a really solid fit in Baltimoreās base 3-4 setup.
Heās not the quickest edge guy in this class but the former Houston standout plays with serious power at the point of attack. Hall probably wonāt ever blossom into the sort of double-digit sack artist most teams covet at this juncture in the draft, but he can be a really good run stopper for a Ravensā defense that needs a boost in that regard.
Harbaugh and his coaching staff will be attracted to the attitude they see from Hall on film. He takes delight in tossing opposing offensive linemen around. He wonāt enjoy that kind of strength advantage at the pro level, but heāll use all of his size and power to impose his will on opponents.
The Ravens can go a lot of different directions in Round 2, but it would be a surprise if they donāt address their need at either edge or corner. In this mock, the Ravens hit the defensive line in Round 2 before finding a corner in the third.
