Scouting Report. Jaquan Brisker . 54. Pick Analysis. S . Penn State. player. 47

Staying focused with the secondary, safety is another position of need for New England. A player who has also seen his stock rise has been Penn State safety Jaquan Brisker. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound defensive back just wrapped up a strong senior campaign with the Nittany Lions.

In 2021, Brisker posted 63 total tackles and two interceptions. The year before he finished with 57 tackles and one interception. Brisker closed his Penn State career with a bang, picking up First-Team All-Big-Ten honors. On top of that, he was a Second-Team All-American.

Brisker was all set to make plays at the Reese’s Senior Bowl earlier this month, but he decided to opt-out and not risk injury. That same mindset was why he didn’t play in the 2022 Outback Bowl either.

Regardless of that, Brisker is considered one of the top safety prospects for this year’s draft class. New England holds the No. 54 overall pick for the second round. Just like McDuffie, New England would be smart to grab Brisker if he’s still out there.
