Pick Analysis. WR . 85. 47. Scouting Report. Western Michigan. Skyy Moore . player

Now taking a look at offense, the Patriots could use another wideout to help out second-year quarterback Mac Jones. It’s clear this team is still lacking some explosiveness in the unit, which is why Western Michigan wide receiver Skyy Moore could be a great third-round get.

Moore is coming off a monster year for Western Michigan, catching 95 balls for 1,292 yards and 10 touchdowns. He has two years of NCAA eligibility remaining, but Moore announced in early January that he’s ready to make the leap to the NFL.

Despite not playing in a Power-5 conference, Moore has impressed scouts thanks to his speed and hands. At 5-10, 195 pounds, he’s being looked at as a slot prospect. He really could be a great addition for Jones’ playmakers.

While it hasn’t been common for Belichick to draft and develop receivers, things have to change in Foxborough now that Jones is the long-term option for this team. Moore has the tools to be a difference-maker early on in his career too.
