Scouting Report. 191. 47. Pick Analysis. RB . Florida International. D'Vonte Price . player

This sixth-round pick comes from the Los Angeles Rams as part of the Sony Michel trade. It’s also the last selection for the team, as they don’t have a seventh-rounder (don’t own a fifth-round pick either). Florida International running back D’Vonte Price would be a late steal.

The Patriots have Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson, but it’d make sense to bring in another running back for the roster this spring. Price is known for being a physical back. The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder just had an impressive week at the Senior Bowl as well to boost his stock.

For FIU in 2021, Price averaged 5.3 yards per carry. He closed out the campaign with 682 yards and six touchdowns in nine games. Price has flown a bit under the radar, as Florida International went 1-11 in 2021.

It was a long year for the team, but Price was a bright spot for them. Now, he’s hoping to hear his name called in the draft. In the sixth round, the Patriots should definitely give Price a hard look. With his size and speed, he’d be a nice addition to their running back room.
