F1 2022 game release date: When is EA’s new Formula 1 video game coming out?

Formula 1 and video game fans are eagerly awaiting news on the F1 2022 game release date. When will the new edition of the game from EA come out?

Racing fans can enjoy Formula 1 year-round thanks to the F1 video games that arrive each year.

Codemasters developed the games but they were purchased by EA in 2021, ushering in a new era for the games and their fans.

So when can fans get their hands on the next game?

F1 2022 game release date

Unfortunately, a release date for the new F1 2022 video game has not been revealed just yet.

However, that doesn’t mean we have no idea when it will arrive.

EA released F1 2021 last year on July 16  whole the 2020 edition debuted on July 7 so it’s safe to guess that F1 2022 will come out around the same time.

Expect a release to come in July, though it is impossible to say how early or late that date may fall.

If you haven’t tried out the F1 video games yet, what are you waiting for? Though not technically a simulator, the games put you in the driver’s seat of a Formula 1 car with the opportunity to race on all of the tracks the professionals do.

From historic sites like Monaco and Spa to memorable GPs around the world, your favorite track is almost certain to appear along with your favorite drivers from the F1 grid.

And if you really want to get serious, there’s nothing quite as invigorating as setting up a proper racing rig and feeling right in the action with a wheel in your hands and pedals at your feet. That’s not to say a good old-fashioned controller doesn’t also do the trick.

However you choose to play, the F1 2022 game should be a fun summer diversion. It’s just going to be a bit of a wait for it to arrive.
