Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow discussed his ranking among the game’s greatest QBs. He knows who he’s chasing.

Burrow didn’t hide from the fact that the game’s best quarterback is currently wearing No. 12 in Green Bay.

Aaron Rodgers won his fourth MVP award on Thursday night, which is tied for second among all players. Peyton Manning won five in his illustrious career, and Rodgers could very well tie him next season.

Despite Rodgers’ age — he’s 38 years old — he’s still the best at his craft in the NFL. Whatever you think of the man and his Joe Rogan-inspired COVID-19 vaccine views, that much is fairly obvious.

Burrow commented on chasing Rodgers heading into Sunday’s contest against the Rams in Super Bowl 56.

Props to Burrow for adding Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady to avoid a clear slight, but even he knows Rodgers is No. 1, and the Associated Press backed that up on Thursday.

Joe Burrow shows respect to Aaron Rodgers before Super Bowl

“I’m chasing Aaron Rodgers to try to be the best,” Burrow said during the final day of Super Bowl media interviews. “He’s been doing it for a long time.”

Rodgers’ future remains a mystery for now, as the Packers star hasn’t committed to another full season in the NFL. Even should he return, he could force his way out of Green Bay to pursue another challenge.

Rodgers claims it’s not a slight to the Packers front office or fans, and stated he’ll always consider himself a Green Bay local. But at 38, and with only a few years of prime football left, it’s possible Rodgers would want to pursue something new, even if it doesn’t pay off in Super Bowl glory.
