The Bengals injury report holds good news for Cincinnati and Joe Burrow as C.J. Uzomah will be active for Super Bowl 56 against the Rams.

For the most part, the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams entered their Super Bowl 56 date largely at full health, at least in terms of the majority of the stars on either team coming into the big game at SoFi Stadium on Sunday.

One of the biggest questions, however, was Cincinnati tight end C.J. Uzomah, who suffered a groin injury in the AFC Championship Game and, initially, seemed like a longshot to play against the Rams. However, that had changed leading up to Sunday.

Now, we have a final word as the team announced that Uzomah, despite being listed as questionable, will be active and ready to rock for the Bengals as the franchise searches for their first Super Bowl.

But let’s check in on the rest of the notable actives and inactives for both teams in this game.

Bengals inactives for Super Bowl 56: C.J. Uzomah will play

Here’s a look at the Bengals inactives for the game.

Obviously, Uzomah not being on there is the biggest thing of note for Cincinnati. They will be without some defensive pieces who have played some key-ish roles this season like Tyler Shelvin and Vernon Hargreaves. The fact that they won’t play, though, does speak to the fact that the health of the defense is currently quite good.

Rams inactives for Super Bowl 56: Darrell Henderson, Taylor Rapp set to go

While the Rams won’t be getting their own tight end, Tyler Higbee, back for the Super Bowl, they did get some good news with their inactives and injury report.

There also aren’t any key players listed among the players who won’t suit up inside SoFi on Sunday, but the big things are that running back Darrell Henderson and defensive back Taylor Rapp, among others, will be able to get on the field. That could be huge for two areas where this team places a lot of focus and will need to thrive if they’re going to hoist the Lombardi Trophy.
