It’s no secret the Georgia football program is amongst the best in the country, but few programs routinely produce the type of talent capable of making a Super Bowl.

The Georgia Bulldogs have been well-represented by teams to make the Super Bowl throughout the 21st century. For each of the past 21 NFL seasons, a former Georgia football player has found his way to being a member of a team that has made it to the Super Bowl.

This year, that Super Bowl streak was able to continue thanks to a total of six former Bulldogs who are attached to the teams competing Sunday evening.

Georgia is represented by both the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals in the Super Bowl.

The Rams have some of the most notable names in this Super Bowl and that includes some former Bulldogs. Representing Georgia for the Rams are quarterback Matthew Stafford, running back Sony Michel, and linebacker Leonard Floyd.

If you take a look over at the Bengals roster, you’ll find Trey Hill, Elijah Holyfield, and Lamont Gaillard.

Many may not be as familiar with Hill and Holyfield as they are with some of the Rams who played for the Bulldogs and part of that is because these two are younger than the other names listed.

It’s also worth noting that Hill is on the offensive line and that’s a position group that often gets overlooked a bit. As for Holyfield and Gaillard, they’re on Cincinnati’s practice squad, so they definitely aren’t getting the attention some of the other names are.

Still, these guys played for Georgia and now they’re hoping to win a Super Bowl. That’s what mattes here.
