Joe Burrow calms fears over injury in Super Bowl post-game interview
By Ethan Lee
Following a loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl 56, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow spoke about his knee in his post-game interview.
Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals came up short in Super Bowl 56.
While the Bengals seemed more than capable of coming out on top and winning a national championship, Cincinnati ultimately was unable to get past Aaron Donald, Matthew Stafford, and the rest of the Los Angeles Rams.
Unfortunately, Burrow, the electrifying and fascinating quarterback for the Bengals, got dinged up against the Rams. Cincinnati’s offensive line wasn’t exactly all that good at slowing down the physically imposing pass rush from Los Angeles. As a result, Burrow was often seen scrambling and doing what he could to evade pressure.
And sometimes it worked. Often it didn’t. Burrow was sacked seven times by the Rams. He was slow to get up at one point.
Burrow needs a better offensive line protecting him.

During his post-game interview, Burrow chatted with reporters and addressed that time he was seen limping off the field. According to the Bengals’ quarterback, his knee seems to be good.
Assuming his knee is actually okay, there’s a chance it may not have mattered to Burrow one way or the other. Apparently he wasn’t going to come off the field.
He’ll get it looked at once he’s back in Cincinnati.
Now that the season is over and ended short of what the Bengals wanted, all Burrow and his teammates can do is move forward. There’s some time to process what happened, but there’s not much else the Bengals can do other than figure out how to take that next step forward.
Cincinnati has a ton of talent. The Bengals should be able to get back to this point sooner rather than later. Burrow needs to stay healthy, of course, but this team is talented and capable of winning a lot.
