Watch: Matthew Stafford playing in Super Bowl confetti with his daughters is so wholesome
By John Buhler
Matthew Stafford is the ultimate girl dad playing with his four young daughters in the Super Bowl 56 confetti.
Matthew Stafford may have quarterbacked the Los Angeles Rams to a Super Bowl 56 championship, but he might have just topped that with this incredibly wholesome content.
Stafford and his wife Kelly have four beautiful little daughters who might be too young to know any about football, but here he is making memories with them in the most heart-warming way possible. Right next to the trophy podium, Stafford is showering his four children with blue and gold confetti to celebrate the signature moment of his professional career with the entire family.
This is unequivocally peak girl dad content that seemingly everybody can get behind.

Though Stafford probably always dreamed of this moment, it is improbable that it even happened. Blessed as the top high school quarterback in his class coming out of Highland Park, Texas, Stafford committed to the University of Georgia where he met Kelly Hall. He turned pro after his true junior season, becoming the No. 1 overall pick by the Detroit Lions in the 2009 NFL Draft.
While Stafford helped quarterback the Lions to the playoffs a few times in Detroit, they were never good enough to win the NFC North or host a home playoff game. After 12 seasons playing for a losing franchise, Stafford requested a trade. He linked up with Sean McVay this past season in Los Angeles. In year one together, they have given the City of Angels a Super Bowl 56 parade.
No matter what happens the rest of the way, this girl dad is a Super Bowl champion quarterback.
