Super Bowl 56: What channel will it be airing on?
So as you tune into NBC or get the stream going on Peacock, here are a few interesting tidbits to know about the game being played. This is the Bengals’ first trip to the Super Bowl since 1988. While this is their third-ever trip to the Super Bowl, they have never won it before. The Rams are playing in the Super Bowl for the second time in four years, chasing their second Lombardi Trophy.
With the game being on NBC, it should be noted this could be Al Michaels’ final game in the booth, as the native Angeleno’s contract is up after this game. His broadcasting partner Cris Collinsworth could see his role evolve with NBC in the next few years, but it is pretty cool that he gets to call a game with his former team playing in it. He was a star wide receiver for the Bengals in the 1980s.
