General manager Les Snead doesn’t seem too worried about Aaron Donald potentially retiring this offseason.

Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald is living the dream. The veteran pass-rusher can officially call himself a Super Bowl champion, as the Rams took down the Bengals on Sunday. So, will Donald call it a career and end things on top?

Before the opening kickoff, NBC’s Rodney Harrison said Donald could retire if the Rams win the Super Bowl.

The Rams won the Super Bowl, so will Donald retire?

Rams general manager Les Snead thinks his star player will be back in the trenches next season.

Les Snead isn’t buying into the Aaron Donald retirement talks

“He’ll sleep on it and see, but I’m not buying it,” Snead said via NFL.com. “He’s a young kid. He’ll get bored and need something to do.”

Donald was asked multiple times by reporters if he’d be back with the Rams for Week 1 in 2022. After dodging the question a couple of times, he finally said that he’s just enjoying the moment and will celebrate the Super Bowl win.

At just 30 years old, Donald still has plenty of great football ahead of him. Known as one of the best defensive players in the game, the 6-foot-1, 280-pounder is a seven-time First-Team All-Pro, with 98 sacks to his name.

In 2021, Donald finished the year with 84 total tackles and 12.5 sacks. The three-time Defensive Player of the Year came in third this year.

Now that he’s got a Super Bowl to his already loaded Hall-of-Fame resume, Donald could either come back to try and help the Rams repeat or hang up his cleats. Right now, it’s up in the air what the future has in store for him, but Rams fans can’t wait to find out what he ultimately decides to do.
