Round 6: Logan Bruss

Bruss’ lack of elite athleticism limits his ceiling at the tackle spot, but he’s a nice, physical prospect with a mean streak that’s going to get him drafted. At the very least, he projects to be a player who can give the Jaguars crucial depth at either tackle spot.

The best-case scenario for Bruss is that he improves his functional athleticism to the point that he can be a solid starter. That’s more than enough upside to justify a selection in Round 6.

Round 6: Matthew Butler

Drafting Butler can give the Jaguars a boost of interior defensive line depth. He plays with solid force at the line of scrimmage but can be accused of getting outside his lane too often. Some intense coaching at the next level could result in Butler being a solid rotation piece at defensive tackle.

Round 6: Doug Kramer

Kramer has a chance to stick on a pro roster due to his competitive streak at center. He lacks the athleticism required to project as anything more than a good backup, but that’s worth the risk as the end of the draft approaches.

Round 6: Kenderick Duncan

Duncan’s injury history will scare off some teams, but he’s got great size for the safety position. At the very least, he projects to be a really good special teams player as a rookie. If he makes an impact on the safety depth chart early on the Jaguars should consider it a bonus.

Round 7: Darien Butler

Butler was a TFL machine during his time at Arizona State. He doesn’t have all the measurables to profile as an impact linebacker at the next level but his sheer production gives room for optimism. He’s worth a shot in Round 7.
